Indonesia Director General of Customs and Excise visits CKB Logistics

Besides obtaining certification for AEO (Authorized Economic Operator) from the Indonesia Directorate General of Customs and Excise on January 2016, CKB Logistics was also one of the 11 companies selected as operator for the government’s program namely Bonded Logistics Center (PLB). PLB is planned to commerce end of February this year.

On 3rd of February 2016, Heru Pambudi, Indonesia Director General of Customs and Excise (DJBC) visited CKB Jakarta Mega Hub located in Cakung. This visit was part of the DJBC’s due diligences, a fit and proper test for selected PLB’s companies before officially appointed by DJBC as PLB operator. Heru explained that PLB operator will receive fiscal incentive facility in form of import duties postponement to indemnity of import duties and taxes, thus could lower demurrage costs, shorten transit time and reduce risk of damages due to the movement of cargos.

DJBC planned to announce the due diligence result at end of February this year.
